If you mean EVERYTHING! like wolla gone and non retiriveable search a program called wipe - vague i know but tis gets rid of small fragmented data even when u reformat a drive fully your files will be on there but in tiny fragments. And this program will get ur drive back to new condition (bar its usuage).
But put your XP/Vista or other OS CD in and follow instructions in reformating the PC. approx takes 1-2 hours of new clean install and getting yoru settings up to way you wanted. then plus more time of any software to download and install :)
Good luck and have fun!
You have 2 HD's well.. C:\ (master) drive will be your local disk drive thats with windows on it.
However you don't need to touch your other harddrive as nothing to do with your os system data.
i'd move all your files(i.e personal use photos music etc) you want from your c drive to your backup drive (slave). so they are safe. turn PC off Disconnect your backup drive. turn PC on put OS CD in reformat.
when OS all instaleld and loading up fine. Turn PC off re-connect backup drive. PC should recogonise it and you have a nicely reformated master drive.
If you want to reformat you backup drive take all files form backup drive put them on your master (C:\) drive and then format your backup drive. when thats done you have 2 drives free and fresh.

id also make a partition just the right size for the OS files, so if ya OS fails or has a load of problems you wont have to back up so much data instead just re-install straight over the old copy of your OS system :y:
