Progress Thread - Starting off !

Well im waiting on my 2000 vtr to come back from getting a new clutch plate then the fun begins. My first plans is to lower 3 nicks and level the front then spray my vtr rims white.

Then change the exhaust and tint my front lights. This is the plans within the near furture. I also hope to either tint or put in a show cage, your views on the tints or cage would be appreaicated

Well if you go to dark with the tints, you won't see the show cage.

I think tints would be better than a cage.

ahhh dont lower by nicks/notches/bollocks as it will most likely fook some bearings in the future that way

i'd also say no to the tints an show cage lol but i do like the idea of your vtr wheels goin white :y:

Well it was either show cage or tints. Might go tints though with 5 points already and only allowed 6 in first few years tints will get me stopped quite alot!

Is tinting my front lights myself a DIY job?

offft there is your answer then, if you gotta do one then let it be the show cage rather than no license lol

an when you say tinting the lights do you mean painting the inserts (chrome like part that surrounds where the bulbs sit)

tints and show cages suck tbh mate, there a waste of money, if your going for the track look at least spend the extra money on a proper cage

tints are ghey. go for a showcage, i like them tbh. yes smoking your headlights is a diy jobby.

you need some standard mirrors too by the looks of it, TINY pic mind.

id say cage over tints
but id rather a proper cage
shw cages are kinda pointless imo

Nice clean vtr there mate like it! If either id go show cage because im not a fan of tints on black saxos i find its to much black! Definatly get the wheels white though will look spot on!

cheers. bought some new skirts and some led side lights ( super white) then some black angel lights, not cheap! Dont think I will touch the front badge or back lights
