Dog???? balls or no balls?

got a dog back in November for my girlfriend for her birthday. he is now 6 months old and the vets have said he is at the age where we can get his balls chopped off (not the term used by the vets,lol)

but i cant decide wheather to do it or not. im a bloke and i wouldnt like my manhood taken away from me. but on the otehr hand he is extremely lively and we have been told that this will calm him down and will also stop him been possesive over his toys, me and my girlfriend when he is older and make him easier to train.

what are peoples thoughts on this?

Have a chocolate lab, really didn't want his doing but got them done, he was a hiper dog got told it would calm him down alot, and when it first goen done he was the same for a few months afterwards tbh and it did go all wrong his op aswell, but he seams alot lazyier now and i much prefered him lviely although he did my head in lol, but he's still the same around other dogs etc

i wouldnt do it mate, ive got a 6 year old staff now who was VERY hyper when he was young, he has really calmed down now tho, still has his mad moments but hey thats jst normal, let him keep them and u never no in a few years u might make some money off them!
