a couple of days ago i was contacted by email saying i had won £2,000,000 in a lottery draw and i had to send a few details to this woman called susan patrick. well i thought what the hell why not. i sent my name and address and my email address which is a hotmail address. anyway yesterday i received an email back asking how i wanted the funds, well i thought if i ask for it in the bank they will want my bank details and i aint that stupid so ask for it by couier where they send you a certificate from the bank of england. anyways i got anohter email this morning asking me to contact mark moore at tnt express to confirm the details and sort the delivery out. sounds a bit fishy to me and i aint given them any details that cant be found on the internet anyway. scam or not a scam? brill if its not as i am £2,000,000 up woo hoo:panic:

Just play along with it, until they ask for bank details!!! That's where you STOP and tell them to Fu*k off. If they told you to ring a specific number don't ring it....It's probably a premium rate phone line i.e £250 per min!!

99% a scam

Definate scam lol. They have probably emailed about 2,000,000 people saying they have won, its like when you go on a site and something pop ups or is already flashing on the screen saying you have won a brand new audi etc. Ye ill just give you all my details ive never heard of the competition before or even seen it before but ill be expecting that brand new audi sitting on my drive tomorrow.

I think they get your email from other places that you have registered at and just mass email random emails.

You are either deluded or retarded.

It's a scam, soon it will be a small amount of money to pay the courier - is there a landline number, a physical address, do a google of the company - then come on here and buy the members a pint who have saved you from looking stupid.

What if it had been just £5 to release the funds? Would you have done it then? 20 gullible people gives you £100. Now send out 5 million emails and sit back waiting for the money to roll in.

One other thing, you've just confirmed to scammers that your hotmail account is active - ditch it now.

You have not played the lottery. How can you win?

Now you've made a silly thread about it all.

Out of interest, are you one of these people who click pop up advertisements saying:
