So i just walk along to the post office, give the lady say x amount, she gives it back to me, i keep the recipet and i post office his/her little snipet from it with a code? He then pops down to the post office and shows his bit from it gets his money then posts?

pretty much mate, last time i got one (years ago) the post office charged for them so i bet they still do, so make sure to take more than you need to the postie.

Also be careful as some scammers use the postal order only thing as a scam as there's no way of tracking it i believe, just to let you know matey :)
