Had the cat converter replaced yesterday as the old one was on its way out, anyway got in the car, started it up and heard a loud rattling, I got out and spoke to the bloke at the garage who stuck it on the ramp and had a look, basically whilst putting the new cat on they noticed the clutch cover had been left loose so they tightened it, this caused it to rattle so they had to loosen it back up again to stop the noise, anyone know if it should be spaced apart on VTR's (Mk2)? doesn't seem normal to me :panic: (recently had a new clutch kit)
