Right..

Sent my phone back 27/02/08 to be repaired as a couple of the buttons stopped working out of the blue..

So phoned them off, sent it off..

Phoned them up just now asking whats going on with it, they said that the main board on the phone is broken beyond repair. So i said well are you going to send me a new one then? No. But its still under warrenty as i bought the phone in July 2007. Well the warrenty doesnt cover the mainboard.

Ok then when do i get my phone back? You will have to pay to get your phone back. What?!

I will have to pay surcharge which will be stated in the letter. My phone will come back in the same condition etc how can they do that as its under warrenty im fuming as i dont have the money to buy a new one.

if your on contact it might be easier to cancel it!

A while ago a mate got a nokia phone, the joy stick broke on it and he couldn't use the phone, they wouldn't give him a replacement as he didn't purchase the insurance.. He said he wanted to cancel the contact and wouldn't give them any more money because he would be paying for a phone contact he couldn't use. The stated that the contact says its not covered I think but he replied saying that the phone was not fit for purpose and he still wanted to cancel..

If you make a fuss they'll back down and give you a replacement. They'd rather take your phone at the end of the day.

prob not explained it well but i have to be in a lecture in 5 mins :D

K850i?

Ive had 5 of these, touch screen after a few weeks on the previous four, I had been given the Black and Green one every time.
Then they gave me the Black and blue and it works a treat!

If you got it from a shop, go back and say you want a refund, the whole fit for purpose still stands, an electronic product in the uk should be covered for a year no matter want..

Tell them you'll take them to court and just stand your ground, they'll back down as the law is behind you.

Seems most phone companies just want to rip people off, I had a d900 which screen broke, and that wasn't covered, just told them that it was no matter want i signed and they gave us a brand new one.
