Knocking Play check

My car is knocking like a good en. From reading on here i takes its probably drop links or wishbones. Could anyone tell me how i check which one it is before i order the parts. Or has anyone got any pics or guide how to change them.

The drop links have gone on mine, changing them on saturday. If you look at the links top and bottom there is a ball joint, check the rubbers, there is a plasic cover over them, check to see if the cover is coming off like mine and see if the rubbers are perished, also like mine. Might even be play in them. They cause a knocking noise when going over bumps etc.

Could be the centre balljoint on the rack where the track rods meet. Ive just had mine replaced and its much better.
