slight rattle

Hi, when my saxo is on tick over getting a really horriable rattling noise, this is only every now and then. But due to i have my MOT shortly i want to no if it is something that may fail my car.What could this be ?

is it coming from the engine bay?

no it more like the front end but of the middle ( more of the middle towards the front but not the engine bay) so i really dont have a clue

ive been told the cat, but it sounds like the exhuast but i have no idea so i hope it aint the gearbox only does it every now and then but dont wanna let it develop and ruin something else
