Hello there. I am looking to lower my VTR by about 35mm and was wondering if it would rub or anything like that. I have standard 14" alloys on and am looking to replace them with maybe a set of 15s. Also i have been looking on ebay and can see springs for about 40 odd quid (gmax etc) has anyone got any advice on what ones to get and how much too lower by. Also it sayd you should by rear shocks aswell. isit ok to lower just with springs. Any advice is much appreciated and links etc will be very helpful. Thanks in advance
Chris

You should be ok up to about 40 mm with out rubbing iirc. Standerd shocks are ok up to about 40mm as well anything over that and you should think about new shocks iirc again. Hope that helps.

Well most places charge like £80 for lowerin the torsion bar, Prices to get the front springs fitted and torsion bar done, along with the trackin as tht will b out when lowered will be about £180 - £200. There are probs places tht will do it cheaper but i'd fine a decent place tht no saxo's :y:
Hope tht helps you out
