just got me saxo back today, has been at citroen for the past week! i had some trouble few weeks ago with oil getting in my water and overheating, anyway turned out the cylinder head was warped, so its been skimmed, new gasket, and also needed new radiator! just wondering whether i need to take it easy for a while to wear it in or whatever, after all the engine was taken apart and sent to a angineering firm to be pressure tested and has had new gasket so im guessing it will need to seal itself up or something inside! just dont want to put me foot down and something else go on it if you get me!

have had lots and lots of crs with headgasket probs, had new gaskets (head) etc, been skimmed and so on and never was told to run it in etc so just drove it normally and never had a problem, the heat of the engine will seal any gaskets or sealants in no time. I wouldnt advise ragging it straight away or for a couple of days, just drive normally if you can lol for abit and all should be fine.

That must be costing you a fortune with citroen doing it? How much did they say it would cost?
