Right all, I'm trying to find a fused distribution block for my install.
It needs to have 4AWG input and a 4AWG and 8AWG output. Can anybody point my in a direction of a suitable block. It would need to be fused as well :)
I also need to have a 90A fuse for the engine bay as well - i understand that AGU type fuses only go upto 80A? yet ANL type go above this? Can i pointed in the direction of a suitable fuse and holder for my needs? (Ie an inline holder for the engine bay:)
REP for good help :)
Cheers

I'm running 2 amps, one JBL CS60.2 @30A and the other is an Infinity Reference Series Amp (can't remember its model number or spec:() @60A.
The JBL powers my components and the Infinity is for my Sub.
As for how much I want to spend, Throw the figures at me and i'll decide from there...

accepts up to 2 gauge in mao 4 gauge will go in and accepts up to 4 gauge out so either 4 or 8 will come out :y:

fantastic find mate. I suppose i coud easily wire in some inline fuse holders after the dist block for going to both amps. You reckon an 80A fuse will be ok? i think the Infinity model number is REF611A - should be a 2 channel bass amp :y:

shoute im only using a 60 amp for both of my amps, best to go under what is needed rather than over :y:

true, true, I'll find out their max current ratings and will work it out from there, the JBL max current is something like 25.9A So presuming the Infinity amp is like that, then (ie under) then an 80A fuse will be perfect.
You reckon its not a bad idea to whack inline holders after the dist block as well to be on the safe side?

well if you want to mate but i think any syrges of power will be picked up by the inline fuse on the battery but seperate amps in theory would be a bit more safer

Right, seeing as that is a very good price for the block, i've got one of them on the way :y: less cable now running through the car :y:

ive had these on quite a few systems and they have always been ok, if anything blows its always the fuse from battery

aha, found it - this is the subs amp
http://www.infinityspeaker.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=REF611A/230&cat=AMP&ser=REF&Language=ENG&Country=GB&Region=EUROPE
can you work out the current draw from that info at all??

funny thing i've just found is on this page
http://www.fixya.com/support/p137371-infinity_reference_611a_600_watt_class_d/manual-6135/page-2
it states (on RH side) that the max draw for my amp is 69A :fcuk: Then how comes its fuses are only upto 60A? (same as the inline fuse)??
