Grill choices

i will be getting my bonnet resprayed sometime this year, but whilst its there i want the grill blending in like baz's on here

i just seen alex's thread and his grill looks awesome so was thinking of either this one

yeah im going to dig my old grill out if i can find it, im guessing i will need another grill to add the slats, then ill fibreglass them in or glue them first then fibreglass them, ill want the slats painted in a gloss black or matt black anyway

then i can try them both on and see what they look like, cheers alex for giving me bloody ideas :p

Thats crazy..i've actually been thinking of dong grille 1 for the last few days!! Didn't realise it had been done before!! thought I was being original. Oh well.

Have to say it doesn't look as good as I had pictured in my minds eye..although may look better coded on a black vtr. Will have to whack up a quick photoshop.

Grill 1, never seen it before looks really good. Anyone think it would look better if it has the vertical slats taken out from the bumper mouth. So then horizontal slats slats on the grill and bumper if you know what i mean

ive only took the back part off :p

marked out where i need to trim stuff off and that was it

tomorrows job will be to trim and maybe get a bit of fibreglass on where the chevrons are to be taken off

if your going with style 1 then personally i would paint the slat in the bottom grill black to match the slats in the bonnet

well i can try different grills as it will just be the inserts that ill change once its smoothed, ill have to find a way of doing it though

the bottom grill wont be getting touched for sure i like it the way it is :)
