yeah it is, on another forum i was told you need a quad LNB and Sky+ needs 2 cables run from the sky dish to the Sky+ box because one cable is telling the dish to record that channel, and the other cable is telling the dish to watch the channel you are watching in the meantime

would i need something like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Quad-LNB-SKY-SKY-HD-SKY-Multiroom-4-outputs_W0QQitemZ160216501233QQihZ006QQcategoryZ60 838QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

sometimes sky install a quad lnb or a dual lnb you need to get up there and check. if its dual you need the above
you would need a multi room subscription as you need the card to put in your box to recieve the package you pay for, or you will only have the free channels
multiroom is 10 extra a month, hope this helps any probs gimme a pm i know my sky/sat shizzle

mm yes bit more complicated 2 sats or quattro/octo lnb etc... do you know you can run a cable form your current sky box, upstairs and watch it. you can also turn the sky channel over aswell. you will have to watch what downstairs are watching and vice versa.
tell me what you want and i'll work out the best option
