by the cops whilst sat at some traffic lights.
Basically, just picked up the car tonight from the garage after it's had a new flywheel and clutch fitted, so thought I'd go for a bit of a drive to test it out. Anyways, I approach these lights where there had been an accident, so loads of coppers about at the scene.
As I go to turn right, this copper looks straight at me and walks over to my passenger door, so I put window down.
He said that I look like someone who hasn't got a licence. I told him that I had a full licence and confirmed my name with him, he said sorry for bothering me etc. Just strange how he didn't run a full check on me, just took my word that I was who I said I was.
Least they are doing there job!

Fair point, well you could have explained to him he'd never catch you because of your immense economy, then steal his hat and drive off....slowly

i gt pulled twice in one day as i have one of them metal tax disk holder which fell off but the tax disk was wedged in the corner and was not clearly visable, both of the police man where sound and gave me no trouble just said look u can leave it like that and ur more likey going to to get pulled and some of the others will find sumthing wrong with ur car'' so i went and brought a normal one and no trouble so far, alot of them are ok just some of them are goons about the smallest of things

Not really if they didnt even check, if you were a banned driver with previous convictions you would have got away with it
