GTI, VTR would be fun for about a week. then would start to annoy you with repair bills and petrol.. :|

Real men drive 8v.
Why wont it last either?
cuz dude it wont be reliable i mean look at the punto gt might as well kept it as a 1.4 8v and kept the turbo out
GTI better all the or VTS
poor men drive 8v's as they cant afford to run a 16v motor:wall:

if run on a low compression engine and not overly stressed with big boost then i would say the vtr turbo would be just as reliable as a regular n/a vtr.
you cant say turbo cars arent reliable- look at corsa vxr, leon cupra, golf gti, megane sport etc etc.

why are you argueing my oppinion for ?? im just saying i would rather go for the gti-vts beacause i think it would be more reliable... so why argue back when thats my oppinion and not yours ?
maynard
11th March 2008, 19:24
if i was buying again id defiantly look for a gti out of the two options anyways.

ok then...tell me how a turbo 8v would be less reliable than a 16v n/a, if you have a strong opinion you should be able to back it up

turbo all the way, if done properly that is.
You wont get more fun in a the vtrT imo.
Plus ive been in a vtrT and own a VTS and would choose the turbo anyday of the week.
Would be just as reliable. same things will break.
