Right im looking to get a new phone and im kinda temped with the iPhone

is it worth it? do u like it any issues etc

and how does the internet work on it? do u pay like with normal phones for the amount of mb u use? or is it free?

You need iTunes to load them on...basically just like an iPod....songs you have bought on iTunes will be transferred to phone oncwe you sync them and vice versa......

Loads of apps to list.....some real good ones depends on taste

You wont be able to get it free with a contract doofus. You buy the handset then register the tariff online at home.

Iphone has a crappy 2MP stills camera, no wifi, no 3g

N95 has 5MP video/stills camera, 3g, wifi, bluetooth etc.

I'm gonna wait for iphone 2 though. Prefer the looks of Iphone over n95 but wouldn't get a phone with such a crap spec., so waitin for the iphone 2 is the perfect solution. Think it's due in june.

Robb, the nokia N95 is a phone that is over 1 year old that every man and his dad has.

People wank on about the mp5 camera which is actually closer to 4mp. The buggy firmware (i believe they are currently on V20+) and the fact it slides both ways.

being the cheap git that i am and could not affort the iphone i went for the LG Viewty - same sorta thing touch screen cracking camera just doesnt have the full internet but its better than your standard wap as you get full images etc. good phone imo (but the poor mans i phone)

My general point, about iphone not having some basic specs, is still the same though.

Let's look at what the n95 has that the iphone doesn't:

3G
GPS
MMS
Video Calling
Video Capture
TV video output
A choice of Network providers

What does the iphone have:

Sharp/cool looks
Touchscreen
Accelerometer
2MP stills camera
EDGE (which sucks ass)
wifi
Loads of cool third party apps.

My position remains the same. While I do love the iphone, I would't spend that much money on a phone which doesn't have some of the most BASIC technical requirments of modern phones. (i.e decent camera, 3g, video capabilities)

THATS why I'll be waiting for iphone2 which'll hopefully have the best of both world's:

Cool/edgy looks
A shed load of third party apps.
3G
GPS
A much better camera, with video capability

The user interface for the menu is best available to date.

You can unlock and jailbreak 1.1.4 with www.ziphone.org just download the software mac or PC and just click and it done worked perfect for me no issues on 1.1.4
