Does drink driving invalidate insurance

I was watching traffic cops the other day and most the people on there are done for drink driving and this made me and my mate wonder if your caught drink driving does it invalidate your insurance?

Yes, any illegal driving.. or the car not being fully legal.. with MOT and tax will invalidate your insurance...
