right will be getting a car over summer, budget of 700-1k max
needs 12 months mot and tax, and in good condition.. below are what I can get for the cash.. again nothing fancy, but what would you chose? Will be used for work oevr summer etc etc

I agree totally with that. A woman i work with has got one. Over the past 2 years she's spent thousands fixing it!!! on average it goes wrong every couple of months. Head gasket, lambda sensor, heater matrix... are just a few of the problems she's had with it!!!!

Rover 200VI.. can pick them up dirt cheap.. pretty rapido if u needed it and better then the 216 on MPG.. head gasket isnt an issue if its warmed up properly b4 a thrash
but out of the above.. id probly say..

Tbh id rather get the bus.
hardly any buses near me, just looking for a cheap run about for the summer that will get me from a-b, see mates, go to work, up to the house in leeds once a month and thats it..
get the bus if you want :homme:

there are loads of cheap good looking motors out there if you look, nova sr, corsa gsi, punto gt ect but with the list you have, i would go with the 106

I had a metro rio for my 1st car - molly R.I.P. it served me well til i passed my test and the suspension gave up on it.
I would go with the punto - try to get a 75 elx, they've got full electric packs colour coded bumpers and stereo controls on the steering wheel - ooohhh fancy!!!
I bought my punto 75 elx for £999 and i loved it. it looked fab with big wheels and tints, i was sorry to see that one go:n:
