Lowering Help?

Hi people need some advice.
I have got a 2001 Reg 1.1

1/ Does this have torsion bars at the back?
2/ How much do I need to lower the front so it just sits above alloys (14")?
3/ Same for the back?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes it does have a torsion bar at the back, mine is lowered down one notch (about 40mm) at the back and the wheel sits just inside arch on 15's, so maybe 2 notches.

Isnt the notch technique bad for your car?
