Not legally! Screens can't be in the drivers sight!
You can however bypass the handbrake switch, so that the screen works while the vehicle is in motion!

dont you just attach the handbreak thing to a normal ground or something?

legally you are not allowed to have it running while driving but you can just attach the handbreak cable from the headunit to a normal earth connection.

dont see why you would want to whilst driving im very sure your supposed to keep your eyes on the road

its 3 points, and you could get done for due care and attention and dangerous driving = possible ban

really wouldnt recommend this, because as soon as you have an accident ( not tempting fate ) what do you think your insurance company will say? doubt they would be impressed.

Insurance company wouldn't pay out, simple as really.

true never thought of it that way. makes the headunit kinda pointless tho if u can only watch it while parked up.

My DVD headunit screen swivels so it can either be centered (as normal), 45º each way (towards passenger or driver), it doesn't even have a wire for handbrake, lol.
My girlfriend watched The Simpsons The Movie when we were travelling back from Newcastle one day, it was swiveled to her so didn't ditract me as couldn't see it and I knew what was happening by listening to it as I had seen it before.

Just scotchblock the handbrake cable into the earth cable of the stereo loom,
I'd strongly recommend putting it to the handbrake switch though, as to stop you from dying and crashing.
You can pull the handbrake one click and use it anyway.

there certainly is, usually the black one on the citroens loom :y:
or you can use the earth where the electric windows are earthed, theres a load of earths about, usually yellow and green :y:

they have always worked for me mate, what i do is use some pliers to put the metal bit on the connector down onto the wire and then snap th lid closed, works everytime :)
