Loses power & cuts out when steering

please help

when i start my car and im just stationrey if i turn the steering wheel between 30-50 degrees either way my car instantley loses power and cuts out????

whilst driving it seens to hold out as its moving

i think it must be something electrical? but cant find any fault

any ideas??

could be your alternator or the belts slipping
