this may seem a silly Q but... england is near enough central on the world map we see. the U.S is to the left, europe and russa etc to the right.
but. if your in the U.S are they in the middle of the map and the UK to the right in relation to were russia is to us... if ya get me ??
or is the map the same 4 every country ??? :panic: :wacko:

Most countrys centre the globe on their country on their maps!
Some do try to avoid the "Pacific factor" where most of the globe is taken up by the Pacific, but yes, they do centre themselves on the globe!

Scary, but for a better, more accurate view - ditch the Mercator projection and use the Peters projection.

Shows the land masses in their true relative sizes and also has the equator running across the centre of the page. (Mercator shows Europe roughly the same size as Africa and the Equator is actually biased towards the Northern Hemisphere.)

No they dont, its all set on time zones and cus england are the best they have the GMT time zone which is the middle one,
