Im looking into buying an 8" sub for my 205. Mainly to keep the weight down, and i want keep lots of boot space.
Anyone had any experiences with them, or can you recommend any good ones?
Im pretty limited with the ammount that are available.

I had this one http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/sony-xsaw81p5-active-subwoofer-system-p-682.html thought it was amazing TBH. Loved it, wish I never sold it. I would highly recommend.
Hope this helps.

sony and active arghhhhh :p
why dont you get some components and an amp up front they provide decent bass if set up right, if not then have you thought about a stealth box

I already have a set of JBL comps amped up. Im also running 2x12" jbl's but theyre just too big and im kinda growing out of SPL now.
The comps on there own just dont cut it. I do still like a bit of a kick and i thought i could get that from an 8" sub.
Stealth box??

LOL, I know, I was running it with standard cd player (High Input) and standard speakers up front, non in rear, so it made all the difference at the time.
Wouldn't bother with a sub if your looking for space. I had components up front with a amp under passenger seat for space.

I do definitely want to go down the sub route, but i just dont need 2 12" subs.
I also think a little 8" would look quite cool, and ive heard that they can still pump quite hard if theyre set up correctly.

there fine mate, tbh if your just wanting a bit of bass without using too much space then the 8 inch is the way to go and that diamond one is fine :y:

Sweet! Next option is sealed or ported!
Sealed ftw i suppose!:y:
Not sure wether to get a new amp or not. Currently have a fli loaded 1000s
I dont suppose a little 8" will need much power and my fli amp will give out 500rms @ 2 ohms, which will be more than enough.
Answering my own questions here! Lol
Thanks for the anyway advice chaps!:y:
