right havent really ever gone that far in my vtr since i got him 8 months ago my brothers flys back fron iraq next tuesday and thought it would be a nice surprise if i go and meet him its about 200 miles away do you think i should get rac cover?

If it makes you happier on a long journey, then yes get some breakdown cover!

first thing full respect for your bro, is your car usually reliable driving round town and that if so i would just leave the cover

i would mate

just to be on the safe side

check oil water etc before you leave aswell

I do a few long journeys...I have breakdwon cover...but touch wood havent had to use it yet.

car has never let me down yet touch wood just think i would feel better if i had cover but if journey went well ive wasted my money thanks for the respect for him im so proud of him hes been there since 2nd october

Get it yes, can't really live without it, never know what's around the corner!

But if you just take it steady up the motorway you should be fine :)

yeah im with the aa defo worth it its more peace of mind than anything else

check water oil and get a good cd for the trip and ull be fine!!! :)
