Noise when in neutral

Hey,

When my cars in neutral with the clutch up I've started to hear a whirring/rubbing noise coming from the front of the car. When the clutch is pressed in, the noise goes away and the car sounds perfectly normal. The noise sounds to me like a belt going round loudly.

Hope this makes sense...any ideas?

Sounds like you need a new clutch kit mate. It isn't a grinding type of noise though is it? if it is I'd suspect gearbox trouble.....

yea clutch mostly likely, cheapest out of the two to fix :P happened to mine but i bought a new gearbox and clutch :)
