hello all

i have not posted for a while ;) so hope everyone is still ok.

well as you know i am looking for a saxo and today coming back from college i saw two saxo's at a car sales, both looks very clean. i know one is a VTR in black on the W reg, and the other a furio in white, not sure on reg.

however i could not help but notice they are both the same price.... at £2,995. now that means the VTR must be in very good condition, as its 3k and it is standard, but this must mean the furio is in perfect nick, right?

are they worth these prices? i know its hard to say without pic and more information but 3k for a furio?

Mugello - all commments welcome and helpful.

bought my furio for 2,500. seems a reasonable price for both. maybe go over there and check mileage and take a look under bonnet.

i think it will be a split choice, but i just wandered if it was high, because ofcourse as they are the same price you would buy the VTR. right?

thats if both are in the same condition.

Saxo prices have plummeted, you can get a very mint example for £3k, i'd be thinking 03 reg with low mileage for that dosh.

yupp indeed i paid £1800 for that black one on the your cars section owned by gavin brookes. all the goodys done 4 branch cda magnex decent stereo mint conditon. 75k miles. so 3k for a 2000 vtr is a rip-off trade for u. see 03 plates go for 3k with like 45 50k miles on

3k is way too much imo mate.

the price difference between vtr's and furios is not that big. this is becasue the furios look like vtr's and are not that slower but they also have less tax and insurance so make a great first car or upgrade from a 1.1.

imo id go go for a vtr but you will be able to pick on up for under 2k nowadays.

you could even get one for alot less that needs work doing to it which could be a little project for you and then atleast you know things have been done properly by yourself
