bare metal alloys in rain?

im having trouble painting my alloys ready for ACE CAFE for monday night,

if i sand them all the way down to the bare metal will it be ok for a day or so? will rain affect it?

i think they may rust a bit because of what they are made from, not sure though.

rain will not hurt too much as they are alloy just give a rub down again before painting

i thought so, cheerz guys im not going to sleep till there all down to alloy metal, has taken me 20 mins to sand down 2 spokes, not even the side of em :S lol
