central locking probs

my cars central locking is dodgy, press the fob unlocks the car then locks itself agen, the alarm lights dont come on so the alarm hasnt disarmed. then if use the key the alarm goes off as u wud expect but i can then lock the car with the central lockin which activated the alarm to set. wierd eh?

ne ideas wud be good if cant fix it cheapy ill jus have to get a new alarm system.

is it the standard vts alarm?

have you checked to see if any of the fuses have blown?

have you searched as iirc there have been a number of threads about vts alarms going abit crazy

try checking that all your doors are correctly shut. sometimes if the doors are not correctly shut when unlocking your car the central locking re-locks, happens to me sometimes lol especially when your impatient to get in your car and open the door while its unlocking lol.

fuses checked, doors sorted no avail lol. i got no idea.

connect up a charger to your battery and then try, if everything works then ur battery is fuked!

i had same prob it maybe your door pins i removed it the refitted it then my stoped it maybe do that mate hope this is helpful for you...

or just check ur door pins not gettin stuck on way down or way up....

mine did this on my furio.

so i changed the solanoid.

the central lockin works fine with the key but doesnt disarm the alarm still so it goes off. so nuffin 2 do with door pins me thinks pls theve been removed. solinoid only fing but wud this effect the alarm not disarming? thanks for ur ideas

dude wtf, im having this problem, happened today, door was working fine this morning and then when i went to unlock door, i opened it hasty as it was unlocking, not really waiting for it to fully unlock and then my door opened but not fully as it was still un-openable as it was only centimeters open then it relocked cos it hadn't fully unlocked and then i shut the door fully, then locked then unlocked again. now it just locks back up every time i press unlock, but when i unlock it, on the passenger side if i open the door quick enough b4 it locks again i can get in... now i have to get in my car form the passenger side as the drivers side doesn't do this as this was the door that i started this on... any ideas what it could be? could the door be stuck or something or have i actually buggered my door lock now? btw my alarm still turns on and off though...

loooooooooooool. w00t!!! my issue just fixed itself yesterday, i just unlocked with centrel locking as u wouldd do normally and instanly my door unlocked normally :D
