hey everyone,

I have heard alot about these and how good an upgrade they are, i just need some part names/numbers or something to identify which ones to get. Or for example what car the whole kit comes off of.

Also are they are straight swap any of them? i imagine not only for a little grinding of the carrier? And do they all fit under standard vtr wheels? There doesnt seem to be much room under lol.

cheers.

a 266mm setup will fit with the vtr wheels. a pegeout 206gti, 306 gti6 and a 1.4 307 all have virtually the same caliper setup that will fit on a saxo with a small amout of grinding! hope this helps!

Ethro do you have any pics of the calipers? i can mark what needs grinding. it's obvious when you come to fit them anyway tbh. put the lower carrier bolt in and swing the carrier into place, then you will see the top bolt won't line up because there is a notch in the strut that stops the carrier from lining up, grind the carrier so you can get both bolts in easily and you're sorted.

Anything in the PSA range with 266mm vented discs will fit, except for larger cars.
Ones to avoid: 406, 407, xantia, c5, big vans.
Ones to go for: 206, 306, 307, berlingo, partner, xsara, picasso, c2, c3, c4,

so do you have to grind the carrier and the caliper or just the carrier or just the caliper?

Just the carrier. Most bosch carriers need little or no grinding, all lucas need a fair bit of grinding.

Avoid 406 because they don't fit. The hub is spaced differently. To use 406 brembos on a saxo you have to use 288mm discs, whereas on the 406 they use 302mm discs. 283mm setup off a 406 will only fit with 266mm discs and then the pads overhang the edges of the discs on teh inside and outside. So when i say avoid, i mean avoid.
