could be your fuel sensor perhaps? mention this to the garage.. i had the same problem with my vtr - rarely get it now, never got sorted as millions of garages couldnt find the fault lol.... but mine did it regulalry... it can also occur when coasting around corners. Mine doesnt seem so bad now it kinda wore off lol. i was told to check my fuel sensor out but never did - if it starts to happen regulary again that will be the first thing i check. hope this helps a little ;)

No problem... its worth giving that ago. also might be wise to ask about your idle stepper motor - as i had a pug 106 and the revs kept playing around causing the engine to stall alot and i had to have a new stepper motor. :geek:

its mad how many people on this site have had the same sort of problems yet no garage and find the fault and they all say the same thing "theres nothing wrong with you car matey" :wall:

try the MAP sensor- went through loads of posts when trying to sort it out on mine- it now seems to be mission to suggest this on every 'cuts out' thread! My idle was really bad sometimes but fine other times. Terrible cutting out occasionally. MAP sensor is on drivers side of the "16V" box on a vts. Not heard anybody suggesting malfunction relay.... also worth mentioning that MAP sensor causes the cutting out and idel problems- if you ONLY have idle problems i would be less sure of it being the MAP sensor.
