i ordered a set of gear linkages from x sport on ebay at the begginig of the week and was expecting them to be here by now cause i have a quick shift that needs to be fitted but cant cause i need the linkages any 1 else experienced problems with them.

im not that sure mate, i had new gearbox and a quickshift put on at the same time. i guess they do.

have a search in the citroen saxo related forums further down this page, i found quite a few ages ago and they either said they made a big difference or they could tell fuck all difference lol.

orite well its soft as shit just now and pops off all the time so it cant get any worse

well yeah theyll deffo solve that, they have lil pins on the back to prevent them jumping off, and they are more strurdy.

They make the box much stiffer and help off the mark because they dont pop off

orite cool thats good just have to wait on them coming also wats the gain point in double clutching ma mate does it .it sounds good when he changes gear but wats is the gain or point in it.

i it was a 106 gti he did it in it makes the gear change slightly longer but i think it keeps the revs up so you can keep the speed going thru the change but surly it doesnt make that much of a difference

there isnt much point double clutchin when road driving, it comes in handy when changing down the gears on track etc as it keeps the revs up an means the car doesnt chug when the change is made which keeps the speed up in the corners

Hi Stu

Your linkages were sent out in the middle of the week, if they are not with you by Monday please email me via pd@xsportracing.com and I'll look into it.

The linkages will help improve your gear change due the design of the cups, as they don't wear like the standard items. They also clip on securely, so they won't ever fall off. Hope this helps!

thanks i emailed the other day and got a reply saying that it was a persol account and it would be reffered tothe website.thanks cant wait to get them wish id waited a bit longer and got them in the group buy lol
