justa little question. me and tynan_ftw_tbh tax renewal forms came through the other day and im a little confused????
his tax is 77 for 6 months and 140 for the year, wheras mind is 99 for six and 180 for the year. we both have vtr's. so why is this?
the only thing i can think of is the fact mine is 2000 and his is 52reg. ie my car has(had:P) the cat under the car wheras his is in the manifold

Anyway the government can screw you out of your hard earned cash they will.

whats the other option? you either pay up or get fined or not drive the car

it's because in 2001 they change the way they decide how much you pay. it changed from engine size (i think) to co2 emissons)

Some cars built before 1973 can have free tax (historic car tax).

I bet they pump out more co2 than any Saxo.
