going to preorder two games (GTA IV and Mercenaries 2) and not sure where to order them from, game or play.

anyone had any problems from either of the two sites like it didnt get delivered on the release date or anything?

http://www.gameplay.co.uk Best website for games, usually recievethe game the day before release and very reliable. Also if by any chance you lose a game int he post they replace it and send straight away.

play.com imo has gone really shit the past few months, they take ages to deliver things. One of me mates pre ordered a game, and when it got relised its still hadnt arived, i think he waited a week untill he contacted them and they said they didnt send it out coz it was sold out, but they let him pre order for the day it was released, so he canceled it and got it from a shop in the end.

hmmm i noticed that with a CD i ordered the other day. ordered it on tuesday afternoon, came on saturday morning. cheers though mate


another one,how come mercs 2 has 3 different release dates :-| play.com say 30/5/08 and game.co.uk say 01/09/08 and gameplay.co.uk say 26/09/08. hmmm so confused lol

That will be because the game hasn't gone gold yet and so that is there estimate of what the release date for the game will be there, mainly due to rumours etc.
