Funny Idle

Does anyone else have this problem where when your idling the car it will move from like 800 to 850 constantly?

Its a saxo VTR btw

could be a fault with the idle speed control valve.

lol, when the revs go up and down for ages lol. mine does it really rarely lol. its random. my friends old saxo did it too...must be a french thing

*could* be a few things, check my other posts on TOADS thread with his idle problem, its 5-6 pages and should find some useful info in there.

my car randonly didnt have a idle the other day, started the car up as normal and it jus dropped dead, had to keep the revs up with right foot and left foot brake :S

it kept doing it, then thought it mus be sumthin to do with idle vale or ecu so i hit the limiter once and its worked fine since!

lol my vtr does this sometimes aswell, get it bouncing off the limiter for a few seconds, always solves it for me.

either the idle controll valve or the air pressure sensor
mines got the same problem
get it checked on a diagnostic
