Remove wing nut on light cluster (inside boot plasticy type nut)

Pull out light cluster from rear of car

Unclip light assembly

Remove broken bulb

Replace with correct type

Refit is reverse of removal!

IIRC there is a little tab that you can pull so the assembly comes away from the light.

the clips on the main bulb holder are a bit fragile so take it easy

I was wondering if it were safe to use a standard digital dimmer switch on a LED light bulb - not CFL made to be dimming unless that's possible. I know they're pricey but it saves a lot of money in the long run.

ive found 4114 led daytime running 12v led light bars (http://www.ledstrips8.com/led-light-bars-c-38.html) but they are a way more expensive, high density led strip (http://www.ledstrips8.com/flexible-led-strip-lighting-high-density-singlechip-flexible-led-strips-c-32_34.html) flexible led strip (http://www.ledstrips8.com/flexible-led-strip-lights-c-32.html)
i do know that the cheap 3157's are brake/turning lights, will they work or can you make them work?
