my airbag light is on constantly since i put buckets in coz of the pluggy thing.does this matter on mot?

it depends on the mot testing centre, if you are using normal seat belts then you can attach the pretentionser to the bottom of the seat. but if you are using harness then you can either take out the airbag light bulb or put a resistor over the plug to fool it into thing the circuit is complete

airbag systems are currently not part of a mot testing criteria so not a chance it will fail. hope that clears it up check mot test sticky

Just to let you know mate, on my old saxo the airbag light was always on and then one day i went into the back of somebody at 40mph and my airbag did not work. Just a warning better to get it sorted :)

if you are using the harnesses mate and not the original seat belts. ive got the resistors you need to put across the wires to put the airbag light out. if you want them just pm me and ill send them to you for free. cheers
