right. Ever since Yates and I nicked found some coaxials in a scraped saxo nearly two years ago, I fitted them to my car but I never actually screwed them in - i just left them to rest on the speaker pod. Anyway I replaced the Coax's with Comps at christmas

I decided yesterday to actually screw them in and bugger me there sooo much better. treble remains the same (tweeters after all) but the mids... ooo some much more definition. safe to say i was a pillock for not bothering to screw them in earlier.

any benefits in bolting the tweeters down? i cant imagine it tbh?

annoying thing is i had the EQ on the headunit and crossover all sorted and now i need to config it again1!!!

well ive screwed my tweeters in place but tbh it wont make much of a difference
