right when a player has like however many months left in contract and the club choose not to resign what i dont understand is after the contract is out does the club sell the player or does he just go free???

think its free mate as there is nothing to tie him to the club and more.

yep once his contract has expired hes free to join any club with no fee being paid to his current club

yep free, and allowd 2 talk 2 other clubs with 6months left on contract. look up the bossman ruling which sorted this problem out in the 90s.

for example mellburg, signed a pre contract with juventus
