heres the tale of woe that occured on Sunday evening :( ..............
I was on my way home from dropping the "better half" off (now i wasnt opening the taps as the heavens had opened and visibility was cack).
I got to about half a mile away from my house down the A14 when i hear an almight POP!! from the front end.... the air inside the car suddenly turned blue with me uttering expletives along the lines of "what the &$£@ was that?!?!" and the saxo suddenly morphed into a 1960's tractor... no loss of power just the noise.
Anyway, i pulled off the dual carriage way, and using my mobile as a makeshift pit lamp proceeded to see what the problem was... hoping it to be just a pipe blown off (we can all hope) but could not see what the problem was.
So i weighed up the pro's and con's of calling out the AA or limping home, at 11:45 pm i really couldnt be @rsed with waiting for the boys in yellow so i decided to limp home as i was cold, wet and pi55ed off beyond relief.
Managed to get my mate under the motor yesterday as i was in meetings in Oxford all day so would not have had the chance, anyway turns out theres a problem with the number one injector... oh joy :(
Not impressed and now I have tried to put her on Autotrader (no point in fixing her as im getting a company car end of the month) to find out the pictures i have taken are not big enough!!!! :wall:
the words "NOT IMPRESSED!!!" come to mind :(
