Im smoothing out the fogs and the number plate reccess on a VT* front bumper. Also making a widemouth conversion.
I'm going down the euro route with it and ive hit a snag. If i smooth out the number plate recess where am i going to put the plate. If i use some double sided sticky tape to where it normaly is, there isnt much point smoothing out the recess. Id like to take the plate off also for shows but i dont think that will be happening because you will see the velcro left behind. Ill get some euro plates to change over when im at a show / meet.
So where am i going to put the plate which is going to show off my hard work smoothing out the recess??

All idea welcome people.

Thanks

Sam

Front Windscreen LOL

I have seen people with vinyl number plates, not very legal but its a plate LOL

Nowhere else really.. I came across this problem and still havent found a solution.
Have a smoothed out VT bumper awaiting spraying too.
The way forward :D

make a bracket for the ront of the car and have it coming through the bottom grill on just under the front bumper. if you have this then its easy to put on and take the plate off. saxoash did it to his vtr
