ECU remapping

Thinkin about installing cams on my car but want to get an ecu as well. Ive heard of my m8s with saxos that you can get the standard ecu remapped for about 250 saving money in the short run but every where ive tried say its not posible.
Does anybody actually no whats true cause im stumped

Standalone is the best option mate!!

but if you insist on a remap then it is possible, loads if guys on here have got them remapped to run cams,

im form northern ireland bt i think theres a guy wayne who remaps them, chipwizzards is his company name, he seems to be the besat around!!
