small problem

I was unable to hard wire my ignition barrel so I got a new one from Ebay, I was making sure everything works and I put the key into the petrol cap, there was click and now the key is stuck! :n:

Now the hell do I get the key out and there is only one

no the cap not on the car, the barrel and cap came in the post today and I was just checking everything, now the key is stuck, I cant get it out!!!!!

ok you need to press the two metal clips down on the inside of the cap and then turn the key to release.

hold it up to you, so you are looking at the opposite side to where the key goes in, looking at the locking mechinism so to speak, are there two metal bits cant miss them really since the rest is plastic, hold them both down n turn the key to release.

I havent seen the specific saxo petrol cap but im sure most citreons from that era are pretty alike.
