anyone else got a throat infection?

the doc said its not tonsilitus and to take just parceptomol and asprin but they dont seem to do much at all to be honest!

anyone else got it or had it recently???

girlfriend's had it (well, doc said chest fection but its clearly focused in the throat.) and now i've picked it up. It's going now really, but damn, the mornings were painful! Nearly choked myself coughing while driving, was awful.

finally after nearly 8 days with it im starting to feel better. spent wednesday,thursday friday and the whole weekend including moday in bed. go up tuesday went to work.felt a bit ruff but im in today and starting to feel a bit better.my throat infection turned into tonsilitus which in turn gave me quinzee or something. which means your tonsils are that large that you cant swallow anything.so didnt eat anythin that day.gettting water down the hatch was hard enough.when id swallow it would sort of bounce back into my mouth haha!

seems like im not alone a few people are the same at the moment!

i woke up this morining and my throat is killin me best think bowt it cant take tablets because i be sick and they will come back up :D so i have to live with it plus smoking dosn't help!

had sore throat for about 2 weeks, ive got a virus and given me a ear infection in both ears :( kills, hurts everytime i swallow and now i have lumps on my tongue!! off back to the doctors 2 moro, fed up now, didnt get any sleep last night cause of my ears

i had tonsilitus around valintines day didnt see the gf all tht day lol! but was off work for a week with it and one night wondered into morrisons to get half way round and then dart to toilet to throw up, fainted nearly in hair dressers tht day too! lol not good! throat was swollen to half the usual size and EVERY movement of it killed!
