my nearside headamp has popped off the level adjuster inside (due to excessive pressure by myself when releasing the headight bulb retaining pin )

just wobbles around loosely now and isn't affected by the in-car adjustment wheel

ive removed the whole lamp unit and there looks to be no access to re-attach the adjuster mechanism

i removed the level adjustment motor backing, which only revealed a circuit board...

looks like i may have to pull the lamp apart to get inside and fix it

just wondered if anyone has had the same problem and/or knows how to fix it?

cheers, chris :)

if you take out the main bulb, u have to put your fingers through and try and hold the light that pivots while you pop it bak in. awkward but can be done matey

cheers bud, think i might've done it! the casing now isn't wobbling anyway

could just about see what i think was the problem. a sort of ball joint looked to have popped out of place. pressure one way caused it to dislodge so just pushed firmly the other way and it seems to have clicked back in

just have to wait and see at my mot re-test if it's sorted

thanks again, chris :y:
