Engine Management light i think!

Right i was fannying about with this new DVD player I bought from halfords today soo bunged it in thought shit I cant install this to many wires.. so was going to take to halfords then noticed my engine managment light came on and started flashing ... light on the far right of my 2001 VTR:bored: presume its the engine management light... anyways it was on before as aparently because of my manifold.. but it started flashing and car seemed to be lossing power? would could cause this?!:zainy:

The car was leaking a little oil during the week but thats cause its been sitting i think could this light of come on because of that?! sounds like im going to have to spend a fortune fixing it tho:bored:

ava look thru the forums there shit loads on these problems cud be a number of fings, but myne was fixed with replacement map sesor. best 2 get it on the diagnostic machine cus u cud spend loads replacing ok parts. later
