Clock to Revcounter

I have a 1.0 MK1 T reg with the big clock and have just got hold of a VTR set of clocks same year same conections with the rev counter. I read other post and thought it would work but every thing works less the rev counter. Can any one help ??

i dont think there is a connection for a rev counter on a 1.0 sorry mate

Take wire from your rev counter to your coil matey!! works on some old cars....

When I did mine in my old car, i did clocks to speedo and that worked perfectly. only thing was I used a non VT unit as they have temp guage too. If you swap from a lesser model with the speedo it'll work fine :y:
