i know high mileage does put some people off but if ya bro does like it then sod it - buy it eh!

i ment like work done to it like... new exhaust at x miles, gasket at x miles. Id only touch a car with high millage if it had a full history of everything that had been done to it. Yea it might only be £450 but might end up costing you 3 times as much fixing it.

il be checking the service history on it,like i said its got a years ticket on it.so if he gets a year out of it then flogs it for parts:y: bonus!!!

think 400 quid is well worth it! if it runs ok then why not? ive seen cars up for sale that've got more than 100 k miles on the clock that sell for more than that

go check it out properly. you can pay the aa n some other car places to have a look at a car before you buy it to see if they are road worthy. dont think its that expensive either!

Its a cheap car at £450 and to be fair 100k isn't really big miles on todays roads. Check the service history and listen to the engine...that should tell you more.

Looks clean enough, defo worth a look, just make sure you knock him down £50 to compensate for the embarasment of having to drive a car away with Lexarse lights fitted!!! And don't forget your balaclava!!!

Sharky-VTR
23rd March 2008, 21:24
there is a place near me called Rapid fit.they check it for £80 so i might get them to do it
