do you mean as in the chassis is corroded? if it is very badly corroded sometimes it can mean a bit of cut n welding work needing to be done. my dads car failed on corrosion and rust on his last mot and it turned out the work that needed to be done would cost more than what the car was worth.might be a good idea just goin to a few garages to see what they can do for you.

Hi and welcome to the site . Both unfortunately are fairly common faults . The welding may just be a couple of small repairs ,£60 ? to some fairly major welding and priced accordingly . Emissions , well start with fresh oil and filter , check exhaust for any air leaks /blowing , new airfilter and get it stinking hot for the retest . It may well be that the sensor is goosed but the other stuff is fairly cheap routine maintainance really
See how you get on
