right i got a mondeo and i normally have 32 front and 30psi (i tihnk) rear as i only normally have front passengers

but tomoz im doing a 130m motorway trip and need to have my partner and 2week old son in the back, am i better off balencing the weight ie, me driving gf in back behind the front passenger seat, or just having her behind me driving and sorting out the typre pressures accordingly, i know it may seem daft to most people but anyone whos had a kid or wanting to know about safety / comfort will get me

cheers

how heavy is your kid?

does it not say in your hand book about pressures when fully laden?

Yopu would normally stick a few extra lb in your tyres for motorway journeys to improve mpg

As for the safety side of things your tyres have a tolerance, normally up to about 52 psi. I'm thinking 32-36 will be just fine
